before the summer ends, before the final petal fall

Late post is late, I apologize. By this time I'm wondering what should the proper definition of my blog be hehe, seems like I'm posting everything. Two weeks ago, my host family invited me to visit a sunflower field in Tanashi City. Sadly when I came, most of them are already facing down and is nearing their final moment ;___; regardless, they're still beautiful and since this was my first time seeing sunflowers this, this humongous, and in such big numbers, I was elated. I was told to 'get lost' in there, and so I did. I spent about an hour walking around this humongous sunflower maze with my senior, she's also Indonesian but from different university. We fooled around, took lots of picture, got lost multiple times, ran away from bees, just having fun like we were five years old. No matter how many pictures I took, it didn't seem to be enough. I'm still learning to use DSLR and that day was a perfect chance to practice. Still far away from perfect but I'm getting there...or so I (hope) think. The hat I wore is from Liz Lisa and I've been using this baby the whole summer, it smelled so good when I first bought it but now it just smell of my hair and sun, lol. Btw, I hauled some items this summer and three of them happened to be from Liz Lisa/Tralala. I'm getting addicted to the fragrance you smell when you waltz in Liz Lisa's store, I'm probably getting them when autumn comes and my skin needs to be hydrated (not that it doesn't need to be hydrated now). The cardigan is also my summer staple, I've been wearing it for days every since I purchased her. I'll make summer haul post in separate articles since this one is already full of pictures.

Summer here is about to end but the heat is still as crazy as ever though (it's 35.1 °C right now) God help us, the humidity wasn't as worse as the beginning of August. September is starting, in fact, we're standing at the beginning of it. A year ago, I was on my way to watch Bless4's performance in AFA ID. I couldn't believe how fast the flies, feels like just yesterday I shed my tear after watching their amazing live performance while in fact it had been a year! Only four months to 2014, folks~ have a good year ahead~

Oh god, this post has been in my draft for two weeks  long overdue post AND, FINALLY, long promised outfit post 

By the way, Wednesday three weeks ago, I went to Harajuku  It's raining horribly but despite that, many high school students are there, talking, laughing, eating crepes and just hanging around in general. What amazes me was the fact that none of them carry umbrella I'd like to apologize for not taking any pictures there. It was impossible for me to take pictures in the midst of crowd and pelting rain  I visited Paris Kid, as suggested by Gohalainn, but none of them fit to my liking so I didn't buy anything. I went straight to Wonder Rocket even though my original plan is to visit Freegia and Sango first. The atmosphere in the store was surprisingly good. Though the weather was horrible, the warm palette of the store; the furnitures, the clothes, make the place warm. Girls who work there were nice too, they dress beautifully  I remember seeing some of them on Wonder Rocket's website. One thing that creeped me out was how they religiously chirp "irasshaimase" and other words related to new times even though there were no new customer at all  . Did you remember my last post about Wonder Rocket wishlist? Though I mention three items, only one of them was there . I tried three pieces and decided to go with two of them . After that, I immediately run to station since I need to meet my friends .

Last week, I finally went to Tamagawa or Tama River. I promised to visit this river since it has the same name with my friend; Tama. Took a lot of picture despite the cloud rolling in here and then.

Mori Monday 「１」

I've been leaving this blog vacant for a way too long. It will soon be a month since I arrived in Japan. I'm slowly getting used with the life here, it's not easy but it's fun, and I'm living everyday with a smile. I made more friends in past two weeks which is a good thing since I'm not good at socializing with new people. We went to Asakusa and Shibuya last Saturday. It rained a lot but I had a nice time. And earlier today, I discovered that a small market near my place has some Dolly Wink items. I've saw Majolica Majorca and Canmake, and some other drug store products before but this is the first time I saw Dolly Wink's product.

As promised, this is the mori girl post, surely some of you are missing it...or not? Kekeke either way is fine. I've been looking around "One Piece Semonten" Spring Release, most of them are looking light, nothing too heavy. The layering is notably lighter, usually a top with lace trimming over a skirt.  Natural Lace Parka

Honestly, i beg to differ the usage of 'parka' here, it's not exactly a parka, more a hooded cardigan, capuchon, or something else --" Either way, it's just my opinion which doesn't matter at all and doesn't lessen the beauty of this 'parka'. It comes in two colour but I, without further thinking, would purchase the blue one if I could. I'm a complete sucker for blue. This look warm enough for spring attire, maybe suitable for winter too. I'm thinking we could make this by trimming laces on our plain cardigan. Maybe one day when I can sew by myself I will make one of this, worth trying. And, yes, we can't have enough of cardigan, or parka.

 Favorite Original Lace Layered Skirt

I beg your pardon but I just can't ignore the caption on the picture; favorite original RACE RAYERD skirt. Dear, One Piece Semonten, I'm so willing to help you in this department lol. Regardless the funny item name (which we actually understand what does it mean anyway), this skirt is the typical layered skirt Mori Girl often wear. I like the toned down brown colour, it's pale but not cold. They spice things up with colour cordination. I'm not good at colour coordination so I adore the styling and colour coordi on this on. They skillfully pair items with different brown hues into beautiful colour coordination, a perfect work of art. Back to the skirt, the material look very lightweight, the laces are thrown asymmetrically, giving an accent to it. This skirt is quiet long so maybe this could be altered into dress of some sort.

 Natural Lace Handmade Pants

While I'll look like legless in this pants, I still adore this! I have short legs and this cut is unflattering on me, so sad, wish I could work this. Anyways, this is one of those "otherworldly kind of cute" aka. this is way too cute I cannot believe this thing exist. I noticed that Mori Girl often sport this kind of pants, I don't know how to call this, not a harem pants, puffed pants? Balloon pants? Either way, they're super adorable and can be worn when you want to give boyish accent to your outfit. I think this pants would be perfect for summer; shirt with lace-sailor collar over this pants. Perfect. Of course, regular shirt will do.

 Natural Stitch-Lace One Piece

This baby over here is perfect for summer, over lace trimmed camisole or under light-weight cardigan. For spring, wear this over a shirt, cardigan works too. This one-piece is all rounder because I can see Mori Girl wearing this in Fall or winter with heavy layering. This would be a perfect summer dress, I can already picture someone wearing this while walking barefoot by the beach side. This can be worn as skirt too, layering is the key.

From all the items above, the skirt is my favorite. How about you? What's your favorite piece?
